owners of My Newport Place
are Joan and Joe Tallman. They have been coming to Newport Beach since
they were children and now bring their own children, grandchildren,
relatives and friends to Newport Beach to enjoy the great weather, activities,
restaurants and of course going down to the beach to relax, swim, play
or visit with friends. Continue reading to hear them describe their
Newport place in their own words...
We are the original owners of the duplex on 27th St. In 2006 we did a complete remodel of the upstairs unit with new kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops, new stainless steal appliances as well as a new built-in china cabinet in the dining room. Ceiling fans were installed in all of the bedrooms. All new furniture was bought, which of course blended in with the new paint color, carpeting and molding. The upstairs now looks practically like a brand new place.
We
do provide a full compliment of dishes, pots and pans, cookie trays,
electric mixer, blender, coffee pot and just about anything you might
need in a kitchen. Our tenants are generally surprised with the full
supply of accessories in the kitchen compared to other rental units
at the beach. In addition to this we also provide washer and dryer,
cable TV, DVD and high speed internet.
The
lower unit also has been remodeled this year with new furniture, paint,
carpet, ceiling fans, crown molding and of course our new red front
door.
One of the nice things about this unit is the 4-car garage. Most places in Newport Beach have a 2-car garage, so our bonus parking is a real plus when you consider the parking situation in the summer. I can recall driving around for an hour looking for a place to park one 4th of July!
