Our family has been coming here for over 10 years. We have always enjoyed the hospitality of Joan and Joe. The house is a few steps away from the beach without dealing with the congestion and cost of staying on the boardwalk. Every year we find the house to be well maintained and updated constantly. The house had a total redo this year and it is just beautiful!

What can I say but "Wow!" To be specific, the inside is like a model home with all the comforts and needs of home. You would never know that this was a rental. The furnishings are gorgeous. (I need this home designer to come do my house!) The work to maintain the unit is evident throughout. The kitchen is over-stocked with all that you would need. There is a full size washer/dryer conveniently located in the unit for the many loads of beach laundry. And then there are the extras throughout the unit that are all in excellent condition. You are half a block from the beach and need not cross any streets to get there. Thus it is a very safe walk to the beach. The upstairs unit has a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. My only suggestion to anyone interested in renting this fabulous unit is to book early. Once you come to this particular beach house no other will compare and you will want to come back each year as we do.

My children had been guests of other families vacationing in Newport over the years, so when the opportunity came for us to rent a place of our own we jumped at it.

I am a self admitted "rental snob" and my husband might say I am hard to please BUT I couldn't have been more pleased with the house at 119 27th Street. Not only was it immaculate (not a hair out of place) but it was beautifully appointed and maintained. The remodeled kitchen with granite counter tops, new appliances, fresh paint, decorating, furniture, and capreting were a dream come true! Not to mention, the location was fabulous and the two parking spots in the garage made everything so convenient.

We would highly recommend grabing any week that might become available!

We have stayed at the property (in either the upstairs and downstairs house) for 13 summer vacations and plan to return for years to come. Our entire family looks forward to our Newport Beach vacation every year. The location is fantastic, one of the nicest streets on the Newport Peninsula. The house is close enough to see and hear the waves, convenient to shopping and entertainment, but nicely isolated from the boardwalk traffic. It’s like a personal sanctuary on the beach. Clean as a whistle and beautifully decorated, more like a bread and breakfast than the traditional “beach house”. Mr. and Mrs. Tallman have shown attention to the details in the furnishings, atmosphere and comforts of home they provide for their guests. We would recommend the property to anyone looking for a fantastic, relaxing vacation.

Thank you for such a wonderful place to stay all these years. We always enjoy our visit to Newport and your condo plays a big part in that. It really doesn’t feel like a rental at all due to all the comforts of home. The fully equipped kitchen, full-sized washer and dryer, and the beautiful furnishings make for a great vacation experience. We so look forward to our visit next year. We have had the priviledge to stay in the Tallman rental the past several years. The place is beautifully furnished with all the possible amenities. We come in each year to a place that is clean, cared for, and close to the beach. We stay in the middle of summer and are continually surprised at how quiet the street is. A big plus is the ability to park in a garage and the friendliness of the neighbors. The Tallman's are a priviledge to work with and have been willing to accomodate our needs.
